Beauty Review – A la Carte London

I don’t know about you but I’m guilty of getting stuck in a bit of a rut with my make-up products – I find one that I like and that’s it. It’s also quite overwhelming with all the choice we have! Because everyone has their own personal preference when it comes to make-up, what first drew me to à la Carte London was their emphasis on producing ‘make-up as unique as you are’. The independent beauty brand is inspired by real people, appreciating the British sense of style as confident, discreet and luxurious – and all of the products are hand-made in London.

I usually choose lipstick based on how long-lasting it is, which can sometimes limit my colour options so I was really impressed with the range on offer. What’s more, à la Carte stock everything from balms to matte, glosses to creams – so there’s something for everyone! Both the lipstick and lip liner I tried lasted all day and because they’re also waterproof with sun protection, it makes these products an essential for your beach/pool holiday this summer.

For a more subtle product I tried the ‘brow fix’ which is an invisible grooming for eyebrows. It’s used to control and sculpt the shape of the brow without adding any colour, so it’s a great addition to your ‘natural look’ products and again it’s also another waterproof one!Screen shot 2015-05-31 at 11.49.44 PM

If, like me, you are looking for a make-up collection that is long lasting, great quality and a superb range of choice, I highly recommend à la Carte London. They also offer services such as colour blending so you get the perfect match, tutorials, and transformations for your special occasion.
