Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, London

As far as I’m concerned once Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London is up and running the Christmas season is officially ON.

The Minx and I went along last week and had a ball. It would be difficult to say ‘it’s not my thing, there’s nothing I would like’ because there is really something for everyone.

The Yuletide markets at Winter Wonderland make you feel as though you’ve travelled afar to some fabulous German city when really you only had to get the tube to Hyde Park Corner to be there. There are gifts, hats, crafts, candles and more, plus so many food choices to keep you warm while the temperatures start to plummet.

Santa Land is open for the younger guests where Father Christmas will visit each day with his elves and sack of free gifts.

Layer up (particularly for the Magical Ice Kingdom) and be prepared to stay all day (or night). Open until the 4th January 10-10 each day (closed on Christmas Day).
