Hotel Review – Hilton, Auckland, New Zealand

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. I loved New Zealand. The sights, the sounds, the amazing weather, and of course, the wonderfully friendly people (jealous yet?). I had such a great time getting involved with the Corporate PA Summit and to top it all off, I stayed in a fabulous hotel.

Heated Lap Pool

The award-winning Hilton Hotel Auckland had beautiful views overlooking the harbour. It was just incredible to wake up in the morning, open the curtains and be greeted by a stunning panorama of the waterfront stretching off into the distance. I even had a balcony, which I was very tempted to sit out on when I had breakfast in my room, which was excellent. However, with such a great restaurant overlooking the water why would you want to stay in your room. With a great breakfast buffet too, tasty and filling, the perfect start to every busy day.

Dinner was impeccable too, and they made sure to cater for every dietary requirement possible. I had a delish ricotta and sage ravioli followed by a scrumptious chocolate fondant. The restaurant itself had a very relaxed vibe, complete with excellent service and a wine recommendation for each course.

King Deluxe Harbour View

Usually at a conference the food is an afterthought but definitely not here, the staff were incredible and really made everyone feel looked after, a real credit to the hotel.

Welcome to the Hilton Auckland hotel

The whole stay was just kauanuanu (Māori for amazing!) and I’d go back again in a heartbeat. The Hilton Hotel Auckland has recently been named New Zealand’s Hotel of the Year and it is very easy to see why.
