My Week – 16th January 2014

Happy New Year y’all, wishing you all things fabulous for 2014. Have you started as you mean to go on or still breaking yourselves into it gently….? I haven’t made any resolutions to break all I wish for is a happy year for us all. I was back to work and the school run last week, it’s great having time off but I get used to the late mornings far too quickly and thrive on routine to get me back on track.

happy-new-yearHowever, I think after driving to somerset before New Year (saw Cinderella at Bristol Hippodrome, oh yes I did!) and then working on QVC late on New Year’s Day for a long stretch I then managed to get struck down by the lurgy. A chesty cough that meant I had a comedy voice for ten days and not much singing along with the radio in the car. But staying home to shake the bugs made me sit down and finally finish the e-book, yay, hurrah! Suddenly a weight is lifted, the sunshine shows it’s face through the clouds again and I no longer need to walk around my home finding hundreds of other things to do whilst delaying sitting down and actually writing.

Power of Words It’s now with an editor and after a few more bits of tinkering it’ll be ready to download around April time, exciting, and of course we must plan a cyber launch party where you will all be invited.
