Dr. Stuart’s Teas Review

I’m sure we all have those nights when we just CANNOT sleep. We lie there, forcing our eyes to close, and yet our mind is still going a million miles a minute. I’m experiencing this nightmarish routine almost nightly, especially as award season grows nearer. Not to mention playing the balancing act of blogger, mother, and wife!

But part of being a PA is finding solutions to tricky problems…

I was looking for a natural remedy instead of prescriptions so I looked into Dr. Stuart’s Natural Herbal Teas.

There is a batched named Valerian Plus which consists of valerian, limeflowers, and hops. The flavours tend to blend a soothing yet bitter flavor (because of the valerian root) which surprisingly seems to balance it and create a nice relaxing, un-winding kind of night-time drink.

I started drinking it right before bed and it has now become part of my night-time routine.

Dr. Stuart’s collection also includes a Liver Detox Herbal Tea which is great to flush out your system or nurse your liver back to health after having too many drinks or even sweet cupcakes, which we all know is my weakness! 😉

So how does his particular tea help excrete toxins and unneeded chemicals from your bloodstream? A combination of peppermint, dandelion root, liquorice root, and milk thistle are the only super heroes you need to ward off those bad guys.

However, the Throat Relief Tea is the one many of us may need this winter season, as the flu season blankets over London.

No useage without permission.

This comforting tea has herbs like cinnamon, marshmallow root, myrtle leaves, and sage, to ease and soothe your throat. Think of it like a natural healing throat massage. Ooh, aah.

What is also great about his tea collection is that the teas are naturally caffeine free , no additives are included, and Dr. Stuart is personally involved in choosing and blending the herbs that go in to the teas that bear his name.

And last, but most certainly not least, you need to check out my favorite kind of tea: Green Tea. Dr. Stuart’s version called Green Tea Chai includes a lovely mixture of green tea, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.

Green tea is said to be beneficial for weight loss, cholesterol, blood pressure, and even depression. My reason for drinking it however, is more for a kick start to the day so I can hit the ground running every morning.

How else can I stay in the game, am I right? 😉
