My week – October 9th, 2012

My diary is literally bursting at the seams at the moment, every Sunday when I look to see what lies ahead I wonder how I’m going to make it through to the other end without collapsing… and I still seem to forget that weekends aren’t for relaxing when you have children, it’s all about ferrying from activity to activity and party to party, hey, they’ll thank us in the end…

I had a fun night at Mint Leaf Restaurant on the Haymarket with the ACA-UK, it’s huge down there, and a great space for events and parties. I also went to The Spotlight’s 85th birthday party at The Spotlight in Leicester Square, they had lots of volumes of Spotlight out from the very beginning, I loved seeing all of our old movie stars going from young to old. The starlets looking so beautiful in their fur stoles with small animals in their laps and the men looked so handsome in uniforms. As I was getting new headshots done later that week I was taking it all in for my own inspiration…(as you can see, i didn’t go for either!)

One of my clients amazingly bought me a ticket to the experience that is ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’. I knew NOTHING about it which I think is the best way to approach it, and I’m not going to give anything away apart from it is INCREDIBLE and next time it’s here I definitely recommend you book a ride.

Exciting news this week too in that I’ve been short-listed with some very lovely PA’s for ‘Social Networking PA of the Year’, how cool is that?? Secsinthecity have nominated PA’s in all different categories and we’re all going to The Ivy for a fabulous awards dinner on October 25th, great excuse to dress up and spend time with people I admire, good luck you fabulous people, PA POWER!
